 - Heavier insulation layer, a fleece jacket or sweater, which can be stowed at the top of your pack for easy access
 - Shell jacket (waterproof)
 - Lightweight long-john bottoms
 - Fleece pants
 - Shell pants (waterproof)
 - Gloves or mittens
 - Extra lightweight, upper layer

 - Hiking boots suitable for terrain
